The Model 555 is ready to go to work for you. These timers are excellent performers for timing kinetic experiments, start and stop times for gas chromatography, safety shutoff on critical equipment, centrifuges, x-ray equipment and quality control analysis. The 555 has an instantly repeatable time cycle. The optional model 565 footswitch (sold separately) can be used for hands-free operation. The Model 555 electronic timer is 100% solid state for digital accuracy and repeatability. It has a simple design with highly visible five-digit LED display that makes time setting easy. The 60 minute time range can be set in minutes, seconds and 1/10 seconds. The 555 has easily adjustable controls for display brightness, AC outlet power and audio signal choices. The model 555 can be used as a countdown or count up timer. The three countdown time ranges are minutes up to 59, seconds up to 59 and tenths of seconds up to 0.9. The three audio signal choices are off, metronome and end-of-cycle tone. The Model 555 has two AC outlets that are independently controlled so you can turn devices on or off as time elapses. The model 555 has a durable plastic case with rubber base pads and wall mounting keyholes in the back. Limited one-year warranty.
